Dallas Mavericks win against the Los Angeles Lakers

The Dallas Mavericks defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 109-104 Tuesday night in Los Angeles.

The Mavericks appeared to be in control of the game in the first half, but the Lakers rallied in the third quarter to make it a contest.

The Lakers got out to a sluggish start, turning the ball over and making numerous uncharacteristic mistakes.

The Mavericks maintained their lead throughout the half, leading 71-56 at the break.

The Lakers, on the other hand, were not about to give up. In the third quarter, they showed more aggression and, more importantly, started making 3-pointers.

In the third, the Lakers shot 7-of-12 from beyond the arc, while the Mavericks shot 1-of-9.

After that, it was the Mavericks' chance to step up their game. During the third quarter, Dallas had given up on getting into the paint.

Midway through the fourth, they went on a 7-0 run to reclaim the lead, which they never lost in the game.

Luka Doncic, who turned 23 the day before, led the Mavs down the stretch with 25 points, eight rebounds, and five assists.
